1. Ip Man DVD (2008)
Synopsis 107 minutes :
In the 1930s, Foshan thrives as the hub of
Chinese Kung Fu, with various sects actively
recrulting disciples. Although Ip Man (Donnie
Yen) is an accomplished martial artist, he only
stays at home and keeps a low-profile, quietly
sparring with his compatriots in friendly
competitions with each other. But after an
acknowledged victory to Jin Shan Zhao’s (Fa Siu
Wong) challenge. Ip Man becomes an instant hero
and there develops a craze for Wing Chun in
Foshan.
Following Japanese invaded China,
everyone’s life is adversely affected. One day,
General Miura (Hiroyuki Ikeuchi), is a
fanatical practitioner in martial arts, he sets
up an arena for Ip Man. Ip Man accepts Miura’s
challenge for Chinese dignity. A fierce
fighting starts…..
2. Ip Man 2 DVD (2010)
Synopsis 109 minutes :
During the Sino-Japanese War, Ip Man
(Donnie Yen) protected the dignity of Chinese
by his wushu (Martial art). As he had beaten
the Japanese army and mode them mad, he had to
escape. After the war, the family lived in
Foshan and experienced hardship. Ip therefore
went to Hong Kong to start a new page with his
family in 1949.
Ip's family arrived Hong Kong. Fortunate
enough to have Leung Kan (Pierre Ngo), the
chief editer of a newspaper, lending his roof
to him for leaching Wing Chun there. A young
man Wong Leung (Huang Xiao Ming) gathered a few
of his boxing friends and asked Ip to be their
master. Ip then had his first group of pupil.
3. Ip Man 3 DVD (2016)
Synopsis 105 minutes:
In this action thriller set in 1959 Hong
Kong, martial-arts master Ip Man (Donnie Yen)
is forced to protect his hometown when a
crooked property developer and his gangster
cohorts attempt to seize control of local real
