Synopsis :
December 8, 1941, 6 aircraft carriers and
350 planes attacked the United States Naval
Forces at Pearl Harbor on Oahu Island. Admiral
Isoroku Yamamoto, the man who desired to avoid
the war executed an unprecedented military feat
and started The Pacific War.
In 2008, the long-lost diary of Isoroku
Yamamoto written in May 31st, 1939 and December
8th, 1941 was rediscovered. Based on the long-
lost diary and directed by Japanese Academy
Award Best Director Izuru Narushima, the film
explores the real story of Isoroku Yamamoto.
Why did a man who staked his life against the
war, end up launching the opening salvo? How
did he lead the fight against the challenges
besetting his country? The film will take us on
the journey to solve this mystery. |
