Synopsis :
Princess Jing (Vicki Zhao) wears a mysterious gold mask on a quarter of her beautiful face, hiding the scars that were mauled by a bear. Her dashing guard, General Huo Xin (Chen Kun) fled the court in shame at fail to protect Jing. The Princess crosses China to find Huo Xin and meets cute bird demon Quer (Mini Yang) and the fox spirit Xiaowei (Zhou Xun), who is seeking someone to exchange the heart to become a real human. Jing felt rebuffed by Huo Xin for her look, she then turns for help to the fox demon Xiaowei, who proposes to swap faces and bodies, at the price of taking possession of Jing’s warm heart….
